The Monarchs tied a school record for the most overtime games in a season with five thus far with its 68-66 victory at Delaware.The 1978-79 Monarchs also had five overtime games with wins over Florida State, East Carolina, VCU andClemson. PLAYER OF THE WEEK
1-16-2 - Kent Bazemore, Old Dominion - Averaged 21.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2.0 steals in Old Dominion's 2-0 week. Scored a career-high 27 points and tied a career-high with 12 rebounds in ODU's 68-66 overtime win at Delaware. Scored 9 of the Monarchs' 11 points in overtime and hit the game-tying free throws with 2 seconds left in regulation to force overtime. He also contributed 16 points and four assists in a 69-61 victory over Hofstra.
