ODU leads, 14-8
Last year, ODU defeated the Pride in New York, 75-64 and in the CAA tournament, 77-69.ODU has beaten Hofstra four straight times. HU last beat the Monarchs at the Ted in 2005-06.
LAST TIME OUT
Chris Cooper's last second basket lifted the Monarchs to a 68-66 overtime win at Delaware Wednesday night. Cooper finished with 14 points and 10 rebounds, while Kent Bazemore scored a career high 27 points along with a career high tying 12 rebounds. Bazemore scored nine of ODU's 11 points in the overtime after sending the game to OT with two free throws.
Richard Ross added a career high 14 for ODU.
