ODU Athletics Currently Fifth In Capital One Women's Cup Standings

NORFOLK,VA--Old Dominion University is currently fifth in the Capital One Women's Cup Standings after the Final Four finish by the Lady Monarchs field hockey squad. ODU athletics picked up 10 points and are tied with Villanova and Connecticut, with Georgetown in first place.

The Capital One Cup is awarded annually to each of the best men's and women's Division I college athletics programs in the country. Points toward the Capital One Cup are earned and tracked throughout the year based on final standings of the NCAA Championships and final official coaches polls. Division I schools earn points for 10 ten finishes in the NCAA Championships and final OfficialCoaches polls.
