Buies Creek, NC.-- ODU junior Samantha Morrell shot 76 today and finished 54 holeswith a 227 and fourth place in the Fighting Camel Fall Classic. As a team, the LadyMonarchs were fifth in the 11-team field that included nationally ranked Illinois.
Tournament host Campbell won the event with a 902 with Illinois in second at 923.
Joining Morrell in the top ten was sophomore Kimberley Bradbury at ninth with a 233,while Gemma Fuster was 16th at 240.
Tournament medalist Amy Anderson of North Dakota State set tournament records for low round (5-under-par 67) and 54-hole total (75-73-67--215). The Lady Monarchsreturn to action in the spring.
