RICHMOND, Va. - Old Dominion University women's soccer concludes the away portion of their schedule this weekend as they travel to VCU and James Madison in two key matchups on Friday and Sunday.
The Lady Monarchs face VCU on Friday at 7 p.m. and finish the road slate at JMU on Sunday at 1 p.m.
ODU is in the thick of the CAA postseason hunt, trailing VCU and George Mason by just two points for the final two spots.
ODU is 6-8-2 overall and 3-4-1 in CAA play. Lisa Bernardini leads the squad and is tied for sixth in the CAA with 18 points. She has a team-best six goals and six assists.
Ashlee Coutu is second on the team with five goals while Amber Cook has three.
Brianna Alvarado is fifth in the CAA with 69 saves and posts a 2.15 goals against average.
VCU comes into Fridays match at 5-7-4 overall and 3-2-3 in the CAA.
Cristin Granados leads the team with four goals and an assists for nine points while Courtney Conrad has four goals.
Kristin Carden has started all 14 games in goal, making 41 saves with a 0.82 GAA.
JMU is 7-6-3 on the year and 4-3-1 in conference play, tied for second with Northeastern.
Lauren Wilson leads the Dukes with six goals and five assists for 17 points while Becky Sparks has a goal and five assists for seven points.
Kate Courter has started all 16 games on the year, holding a 1.04 GAA making 74 saves.
ODU returns home for the regular season finale on Friday, Oct. 28 at 7 p.m. when they host William and Mary.
