Here is the ODU Monarchs in the Pros Update whichalso includes minor league players as well.
Justin Verlander (ODU'04) - The four-time all-star is 12-4 with a 2.15 ERA. He currentlyleads the American League with 147 strikeouts in 151 innings of work and only 31walks issured. Currently 95-56 career record with 1112 career strikeouts in 1215 innings.
Dan Hudson (ODU'08)- Dan is currently 9-5 with a 3.74 ERA. He has 99 strikeouts in 125innings of work. Hudson also leads National League pitchers with a .333 batting average (12-36) and nine RBI
Kyle Hald (ODU'11)- The two time All-CAA pitcher and strikeout king is 1-0 with a2.13 ERA in three games and two starts for Johnson City (St. Louis Cardinals) in the Appalachian League. In 12.2 innings of work, Hald has 18 strikeouts.
Dexter Carter (ODU'08) - Dexter is currently 2-4 with a 6.53 ERA for the Kannapolisintimidators in the Class A South Atlantic League (Chicago WS). The 6-6 Carter has40 innings of work with 32 strikeouts.
Gerard Hall (ODU '09) - Gerard Hall is hitting .267 with the Wilmington Blue Rocks in the Class A Advanced Carolina League (Kansas City Royals). Hall started the year with the Kane County Cougers in the Midwest League where he earned Mid-Season All-Star honors with a .269 battng average, 15 doubles and 23 runs scored in 53 games.Hall was a 2009 All-CAA shortstop selection.
Adam Wisniewski (ODU '11) - Adam is 0-0 in 12 appearances. He has a 1.69 ERA withnine strikeouts in 10.2 innings of work for the Evansville Otters in the Frontier Independent League.
Joe Hamaucher (ODU'11) is playing for the Las Cruces Vaqueros.
