Monarchs Travel to JMU For Three-Game CAA Series

NORFOLK, VA-- Old Dominion University's righthanded relief ace Adam Wisniewski (Norfolk, VA.) has signed with the Evansville Otters of the Frontier Independent League.

Wisniewski, a first team All-CAA reliever who led the league with an ODU single season record of 15 saves fanned 35 batters in 28 innings of work. He compiled a 2.89 earned run average in 29 appearances. He blew only two save opportunities.

The Frontier league is comprised of 12 teams which include: Evansville Otters, Florence Freedom (Kentucky), Gateway Grizzlies (Sauget, Ill.), Normal Cornbelters (IL.), River City Rascals (O'Fallon, MO.), SouthernIllinois Miners (Marion, IL.) in the West Division.

The East Division is comprised of: Joliet Slammers (IL.), Lake Erie Crushers (Avon, OH), Rockford RiverHawks(Loves Park, IL.), Traverse City Beach Bums (MI.), Washington WIld Things (Washington, PA), and the Windy CityThunderbolts (Crestwood, IL.).

The 5-9, 175-pounder graduated from ODU last month with a degree in sports management.
