NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion University women's lacrosse takes on William and Mary in the final regular-season game of the season Wednesday at 7 p.m. The Lady Monarchs would clinch a CAA playoff berth with a win.
ODU (4-10, 3-3) will host senior day before the start of the game to honor seniors Brienna Faust, Tracy Reed and Clara Flanagan.
The Lady Monarchs have dropped two-straight, falling at Towson and Delaware over the weekend.
Junior Lisa Bernardini continues to lead the offense with 32 goals and 14 assists and 46 points. She ranks second in the CAA with 3.29 points per game.
Juniors Rebecca Hartrum and Sarah Wright are tied for second on the team with 16 goals. Wright has seven assists for 23 points while Hartrum has four helpers for 20 points.
Junior Sarah Geary has started every minute in goal for the Lady Monarchs, tallying 119 saves with a CAA best 3.5 groundballs per game.
The Lady Monarchs have had continuity in the starting lineup throughtout the year, as 10 players have started every game this year. Meredith Rogers, Alyssa Dragon, Courtney Johnson, Shelby Davis, Carolyn Burns, Geary, Bernardini, Hartrum, Wright and Flanagan have started every game this year.
William and Mary is 9-6 on the year and 4-2 in the CAA.
Grace Golden leads the CAA with 49 goals and 57 points while Kyrstin Mackrides has 32 goals and 12 assists on the season.
Emily Geary has seen the majority of time in goal for W&M, making 98 saves with 32 groundballs and five caused turnovers.
