NORFOLK, Va. - Cornell won the doubles point and hung on just enough to beat Old Dominion University men's tennis 4-3 Friday evening at the Folkes-Stevens Tennis Center.
Tobias Fanselow and Krzysztof Muzalewski won 8-6 at number one singles but Cornell was able to win the number two and three spots to win the point.
Fanselow was able to win a hard fought three-set match 6-2, 2-6, 6-2 at number one while Muzalewski won 6-2, 6-1 at number three singles.
Albert Ochagavia won another three-setter 6-4, 4-6, 6-3 but Clay Cypert dropped a tough 3-6, 6-2, 6-3 match to give the Panthers the victory.
