NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion University men's tennis capped a 3-0 weekend by opening Colonial Athletic Association play with a 5-2 victory over James Madison Sunday at the Folkes-Stevens Indoor Tennis Facility.
The Monarchs earned the doubles point with an 8-4 victory at the number one spot by Tobias Fanselow and Krzysztof Muzalewski, and a win at No. 3 by Albert Ochagavia and Alfredo Rodriguez.
Fanselow, Muzalewski and Ochagavia all finished off a perfect 3-0 weekend of singles play with wins on Sunday, while Alfredo Rodriguez and Clay Cypert also earned singles wins, with Cypert picking up his first win as a Monarch.
ODU is back in action on Friday as they take on East Carolina at 1 p.m. and UNC Greensboro at 7 p.m. Both matches will take place at the Folkes-Stevens Indoor Tennis Facility
