SUNSET BEACH, NC-- The ODU Lady Monarchs finished sixth at the Sea Trail Intercollegiate, shooting 941 for the 54 hole event. Sophomore SamanthaMorrell (North Kingstown, RI.) tied for seventh, and freshman Kimberley Bradbury (Derbyshire, England) tied for 22nd.
ODU shot its lowest round of the three-day event wiht a 307 today as Morrellfired a 75 while Bradbury and Emma Gilmore (Moylough, Ballinaside, Ireland) each shot 77 today.
Morrell, who was the CAA's Golfer of the Week gets her second top 10 finish finished at 227 tied with Rumbidzai Masanvu of Appalachian State, VirginiaMayer of Elon and Kasay Holbrook of Presbyterian. Bradbury whot 234 to tie for22nd with Kayla Turner of Samford.
Elon won the event with an 894 led by tournament medalist Tara McFadden posteda one under par 215.
