SUNSET BEACH, NC-- The Lady Monarchs are in sixth place after two rounds of the SeaTrail Women's Intercollegiate. Sophomore Samantha Morrell (North Kingstown, RI.) is 10th, freshman Kimberley Bradbury (Derbyshire, England) is 22nd and junior Kristen Hagan (Charlotte, NC.) is 38th.
Morrell shot 78 today as her two-round score of 152 is 10 strokes behind leader Tara McFadden of Elon who shot 69 today. Bradbury shot 78 as well for a 157 two round score and Hagan fired a 78 to improve her score to 163.
Host Elon leads the tournament with a 594, followed by Appalachian State at 611. ODU has 634.
