NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion women's basketball head coach Wendy Larry has announced that Beth Bradley has been named to the position of Director of Women's Basketball Operations. She will be primarily responsible for coordinating the team's travel and community service projects, as well as assisting with scouting duties, scheduling and development.
"We are really excited about adding Beth's enthusiasm and energy to our staff," said Larry. "She has great organizational skills and is familiar with the Hampton Roads area having worked with Operation Smile in marketing and development."
Bradley joins the Lady Monarch staff after serving as the graduate assistant and interim assistant coach for Cindy Fisher at the University of San Diego. Her responsibilities included marketing, coordinating film exchange, community outreach, academic support, maintaining the recruiting database, assisting with game operations, providing real-time game statistics and coordinating summer camps.
Bradley is a 2003 graduate from Lipscomb University where she was a standout basketball player for the Lady Bison. As a team captain and senior, she helped lead Lipscomb to the Atlantic Sun Conference Championship, becoming the first women's basketball team at LU to reach the NCAA Tournament.
Bradley brings a diverse coaching background to the Lady Monarchs. She has coached at several different summer camps including Lipscomb University, Vanderbilt University and California State University Chico.
Bradley majored in Public Relations and earned a double-minor in Marketing and English while at Lipscomb. She also earned her Masters of Arts Degree in Organizational Leadership from San Diego University in 2010.
Prior to coming to San Diego, Bradley worked for the International Non-Profit, Operation Smile as the Regional Development Manager for California.
