PORTSMOUTH, VA-- ODU Sports Hall of Famer Jon Hurst ('91) shot 275 and rising seniorSeth Norman at 278 at the Eastern Amateur this weekend. The Tournament was played atthe Elizabeth Manor Golf Club.
Hurst finished 11th, ten strokes behind tournament champion Dominic Bozzell of Pittsford, NY. Hurst, ODU's first Division I All-American in golf shot 71-71-67-66on the weekend.
Seth Norman shot 69-71-71-67 at the Tournament to finish 13 strokes back.ODU signee Tim Ritter shot 77-72 for 149, but missed the cut.
