The National Association of Collegiate Marketing Administrators (NACMA) has selected its 2009-10 award winners, with Old Dominion University athletics garnering honors in two categories.Initiated in 2003, the NACMA Awards program honors outstanding achievement in marketing and promotions. Awards are presented in 16 categories, with each category divided into three groups based upon school size and conference affiliations to promote fairness. More than 650 entries were received for the 2009-10 contest.ODU, which competes in Category "B", earned a silver award for the women's basketball promotional poster and a bronze award for the football season ticket campaign. The awards mark the seventh year that the ODU athletic public relations and marketing department has been honored by NACMA.
