MADISON, Wis. - Despite stellar racing from B Division sailors Katrina Williams and Wilson Stout, the Old Dominion sailing team remains in 14th after day two of the ICSA Coed National Championship.
Seven total races were sailed on Wednesday as sailors battled light winds in the afternoon and a rainstorm in the early evening. Darkness finally forced the 18-team field onto shore in the middle of a B Division rotation.
The Monarchs have totaled 214 points after two days of sailing. No. 1 Boston College continues to lead the way with127 points, followed closely by Harvard (132), Brown (142) and St. Mary's (142).
Williams and Stout moved up to 11th overall in the B Division after recording Top 10 finishes in all three races Wednesday. The duo posted finishes of ninth, second and 10th.
Junior skipper Stephanie Roble and senior crew Michael Komar have fallen back to 16th overall in the A Division.
Sailing on the final day of the national championships will pick up with B Division racing Thursday at 9 a.m.
