NORFOLK,VA-- Former ODU pitching standout Dan Hudson ('08) struckout nine over5.1 innings of work Monday night to lead the Charlotte Knights to a 6-3 win over the Norfolk Tides in a AAA contest. The game was played at Norfolk's Harbor Park.
Hudson allowed just three hits with one walk in the game.
The two-time All-CAA performer was called up to the Chicago White Sox last Septemberafter moving up from Class A ball to AA to AAA during the course of the summer.He was 1-1 with a 3.38 ERA.
Hudson was 20-14 during his ODU career with a 3.79 ERA and 295 strikeouts in 292innigs of work.
