SERIES VS. DAYTON

Dayton leads, 5-4. The two teams last played in the 2002-03 season with the FlyersDefeating the Monarchs, 71-67 in the Constant Center. The year before, ODU won at the Dayton Arena, 81-76. Former Monarch standout and current Clemson headCoach Oliver Purnell (ODU '75) was Dayton's head coach then.

DID YOU KNOWDayton is one of four Atlantic 10 teams on the Monarchs schedule. ODU lost to Richmond earlier this season, 67-60. The Monarchs play Charlotte on Dec. 23.and Duquesne on Dec. 30.

ODU DEFENSEThe 38 points for Mount St. Mary's was the lowest total points scored for the Mountaineers since Feb. 10, 1950 when they tallied 37 points against Loyola. It's the second time this season that ODU has held an opponent to only 38 points as Bethune Cookman managed the same total in a 69-38 ODU victory on November 15.
