NORFOLK, VA--The ODU Soccer Monarchs host the Pride of Hofstra Saturday afternoonat 2 p.m. at the ODU Soccer Complex in a key CAA match.
Hofstra has won four of their last five matchest and are led by Rob Youhill with13 points on four goals and five assists. Johannes grahn has 11 points on five goals and one assist. Hofstra currently leads the CAA with 12 points on a 4-1 record.
ODU got back on the winning track with a 3-1 victory over Georgia State Wednesdaynight as Yannick Smith, Steffen Rabben and Nane Joseph each scored a goal. BobbyFoglesong and Shane Howard each got an assist.
Rabben and Joseph lead ODU in scoring with nine points each on four goals and oneassist. Bobby Foglesong, Yannick Smith and Shane Howard are next with eight pointseach.
Howard leads the Monarchs in assists with six, while goalkeeper Evan Newton has a 0.80 goals against average.
the series is even at 6-6-1. The Pride defeated the Monarchs, 1-0 last year inNew York.
