RICHMOND, VA.-- The Lady Monarchs fired a 318 and are tied after the first roundfor sixth place at the University of Richmond Spider Invitational.
Lady Monarch freshman Samantha Morrell, the CAA's Player of the Week last week shot75 and is tied for fourth. Morrell shot 34 on the front and 41 on the back. She is only three strokes off the lead. Kristen Hagan is tied for 29th after shooting 80.
Longwood University leads the tournament at 302, followed by the University ofMaryland at 303. Alexa Boucher of Longwood is the individual leader at 72, followedby Jessie Hollandsworth of Maryland at 73.
