WILLIAMSBURG, VA-- Price Thomas scored two second half goals to lift the Tribe of William and Mary to a 2-1 Colonial Athletic Association win over 20th ranked Old Dominion Wednesday night.

ODU is now 6-2-1 overall, and 1-1-1 in the CAA, while W&M is 7-3 overall and 2-1 in the CAA.

ODU took a 1-0 lead in the first half on an unassisted goal by freshman Shane Howard (Co. Carlow, Ireland) on a free kick with 29:54 into the first half.

Thomas tied the match on an assist from Alan Koger 20 minutes into the second half. Then seven minutes later he scored again from about 20 yards out on an assist from Roger Bothe.

The Monarchs dominated play, outshooting the Tribe, 20-10 overall and 10-5 in shots on goal. ODU also had ten corners to the Tribes two. W&M Goalkeeper Andrew McAdams made eight saves on the night, while ODU's Evan Newton had three saves.

Late in the game ODU had numerous scoring opportunities, but McAdams came up with the stops.

ODU returns to CAA action Saturday night at Towson. Game time is 1 p.m.
