CHARLOTTE, NC--Former ODU pitching standout Dan Hudson (Virginia Beach, VA.) made his triple Adebut Sunday for the Chicago White Sox affiliate Charlotte Knights.
Hudson did not get the decision in the 8-7 win over Indianapolis. He pitched four innings allowing fiveruns, four earned with one walk and two strikeouts.
Prior to the call-up Hudson had won six straight games for AA Birmingham. He had compiled a 7-0overall record with a 1.60 earned run average with 63 strikeouts in 56.1 innings of work.
Hudson was a two-time All-CAA selection for the Monarchs, earning first team honors in 2007 andsecond team in 2008.
Dan and the Charlotte Knights play at the Norfolk Tides, Aug. 29-31.
