When did you begin playing football?
When I was 7 years old I started playing flag football
Who has had the greatest impact on your career?
My high school coach, he really helped me turn my life around
Why did you choose to attend ODU?
Same reason everyone else did, history
What has been the biggest difference between high school football and college football?
The speed, tempo and competition
What has it been the best part about being a member of ODU’s first football team in over 60 years?
Feeling the excitement around you
If you could play another position what would it be and why?
Quarterback, I have always felt I was meant to be one I was just born into a lineman’s body
Favorite sports other than your own?
Surfing

This guy wants to win

I have never seen someone so excited about football
Do you have a pre-game ritual, if so what is it?
Not really, just to sit and think about the game
What is your funniest memory from an ODU practice thus far?
Watching our kicker Drew fall in the weight room while doing hang cleans
If you could line up opposite any player in the NFL and go 1-on-1, who would it be and why?
Jeff Saturday, he’s one of the best centers in the NFL and I could learn a lot from him.
What song is stuck in your head right now?
John Deere Green by Joe Diffie
What is one thing people would be surprised to learn about you?
I love to spend my summer surfing and I used to play running back
What is your dream job?
Offensive line coach for a Division I program
What is your most valued possession?
My cell phone, I can’t function without it
What is your favorite place to eat on campus?
Quiznos, I can’t stay away from the Baja chicken sub
