KIAWAH ISLAND, SC--Old Dominion University senior Alexis Garduno (Sacramento, CA.) fired a 77 today to finishAt 239 and freshman Kristen Hagan (Charlotte, NC.) shot a 78 today to finish at 243 in the final round of the Edwin Watts/Kiawah Island Classic. This is the largest women's intercollegiate tournament with 43 teams,21 of whom are ranked in Golfweek's top 100.
Garduno finished in a tie for 94th, while Hagan tied for 124. As a team, ODU was 37th with a score of 989. The University of Miami and Central Arkansas tied for the lead at 904.
The Lady Monarchs return to action March 7-8 at the Low Country Intercollegiate in Hilton Head,SC.
