When did you begin playing football?
I started playing when I was 10 years old
Who has had the greatest impact on your career?
My mom. I can talk to her about everything and she never wants me to quit once I set a goal.
Why did you choose to attend ODU?
It’s a great school, close to my home (Virginia Beach) and I wanted to be a part of the new football team
What has been the biggest difference between high school football and college football?
I would have to say the tempo
What has it been the best part about being a member of ODU’s first football team in over 60 years?
Being a part of a new and upcoming program that has potential to make history.
If you could play another position what would it be and why?
Free safety because I miss playing it and making plays on the defensive side of the ball
Favorite sports other than your own?
Basketball
After meeting Coach Wilder for the first time, what were your thoughts?
He is a good man and I can see myself playing for him.
After meeting receiver coach Keita Malloy for the first time, what were your thoughts?
He is honest and upfront, and he would push me to my greatest potential.
Do you have a pre-game ritual, if so what is it?
Relax and focus on my assignments, read playbook, and listen to my iPod.
If you could line up opposite any player in the NFL and go 1-on-1, who would it be and why?
Deion Sanders, he played both sides of the ball and could teach me new things.
