MAISA SLOOP CHAMPIONSHIPS KINGS POINT AND SEAWANHAKA CORINTHIAN YACHT CLUB 11/8-9/2008 10:59 AM 11-9-08REGATTA HIGHLIGHTS:
Saturday:Races 1-3 were windward leewards twice around with a gate above the starting line.Races 4-7 were modified windward leewards twice around with a gate. Courses were30-40 minutes in a 8-15 knot southerly. 3 yellow flag penalties were taken, oneBKD awarded, one protest disallowed, one retire after finish.
Sunday:Races were 45 minutes in 14-16 knot stable westerly on long island sound. Courseswere modified windward-leeward with an offset and a gate. One yellow flag taken,one breakdown filed but dropped, one protest filed but dropped.
