NORFOLK, VA-- The Baseball Monarchs play the Norfolk Tides in the Annual Bank of the Commonwealth Baseball Scholarship Game at HarborPark Tuesday night at 7:15.
Tickets for the event are $3.00 for children, and ODU students and $5.00 for adults.
The Tides are the AAA affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles. Proceeds fromthe exhibition will benefit the Intercollegiate Foundation for baseballscholarships.
In other news, Monarch senior righthander Ryan Bergh was named CAA Pitcher of the Week after tossing a four-hit, 3-1 complete game victoryover George Mason Sunday. Bergh has now threw two straight complete gamevictories. He is now 3-2 overall with a 2.88 ERA.
The Monarchs return to collegiate action on Wednesday night when theyhost VMI at 6 p.m., the defending CAA Tournament champion VCU comes totown for a three-game weekend series beginning Friday night at 7 p.m.
