NORFOLK, VA-- The ODU Baseball Monarchs (10-9/3-3) host James Madison (14-3/8-1) in a three-gameCAA series beginning Friday night at 7 pm in theBud Metheny Baseball Complex.
James Madison is led in hitting by Brett Sellers at .473 with five homers and 16 RBI. Matt Townsend is hitting .421 with six stolen bases. On the mound Kyle Hoffman is 3-0 with a 2.96 ERA and Trevor Kaylid is 2-1 with a 3.48 ERA.
Jimmy Miles leads ODU with a .382 batting average and 14 stolen bases.Bryan Cipolla is at .373 with 23 RBI, and Anthony Shawler is hitting.367 with 19 RBI and three homers. David Burns leads ODU in homers withfive. ODU is scheduled to throw Dan Hudson on Friday and Shawler onSaturday.
JMU is scheduled to throw Kurt Houck (2-1), Justin Wood (2-1) and Hoffman.
