ST. MARY'S, Md. -- The nationally ranked Old Dominion women's sailors finished with another top ten effort this weekend at the St. Mary's Women's Intersectional. ODU finished 9th of the 14 teams in attendance with a total of 227 points. In B division, rookie skipper Stephanie Roble led classmate Kristen Cumming and sophomore Ashley Brusso to an 8th place finish.
Roble led the B division boat to 8th, tied in points with the 7th place boat and just 16 points back of the top five in the division. In 12 completed races, the B division crew finished in the top ten nine times, including two wins and six top fives.
In A division, sophomore Katrina Williams sailed with junior Jaci Finney, as well as Cumming. The trio were 10th in A division with 119 total points, just 29 points out of the top five. The Bermuda native at the helm, Williams, sailed in all 12 races and tallied nine top ten finishes in 12 races. The A division crew had one win and four efforts among the top five.
