ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- The #8 Lady Monarch sailing team grabbed another top ten finish with a ninth place effort at the Navy Spring Women's this weekend. ODU was just 11 points back of sixth place for the weekend. Sophomore Katrina Williams and junior Jaclyn Finney with freshman Morgan Wilson and sophomore Jane Bleakney sailed in A division for an 8th place finish.
Williams & Jaci Finney sailed in the first eight races in A division and finished with four top ten efforts. Wilson and Bleakney sailed in the final two races in A division to combine for 91 total points and the 8th place finish.
In B division sailing, freshman Stephanie Roble and sophomore Ashley Brusso sailed to a 9th place finish with 83 total points. They were just 20 points back of a top five finish in the division as they finished with seven top ten efforts in the ten completed races. They finished as high as second and were among the top five boats five times.
