ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- The Lady Monarchs picked up one place in the standings with just one race on Sunday at the Navy Fall Women's Intersectional. ODU freshman and ICSA Women's Singlehanded Championship qualifier Stephanie Roble won C division. Both A and B division pairs finished in the top ten to help ODU finish in the top five overall.

Roble won the singlehanded C division with by 17 points. She finished outside the top three only once in the 11 races and won four races. She also finished second in five of the 11 completed races.

In A division, Katrina Williams and Alissa Ayres added a seventh place finish on Sunday to edge out Dartmouth and finish 6th in the division. The pair finished with eight top ten finishes in the 11 races.

Junior crew Elyssa Albert and freshman skipper Morgan Wilson were consistent in B division, never finishing outside the top ten. The boat's 106 points was good for 9th place in B division.

The trio of boats sailed to a fourth place finish at the regatta. The young women's team continues to impress early in the season as two freshman and one sophomore were skippering the event. All three have qualified for next month's ICSA Women's Singlehanded Championship.
