BOSTON, Mass. -- The Lady Monarch sailing team finished 10th overall at the Victorian Coffee Urn Regatta with an excellent second day of sailing from the B division sailors. Freshman Stephanie Roble and junior Elyssa Albert finished fifth in the division with six top eight finishes to close out the regatta, including two second place finishes.

Roble and Albert were in 10th place in the division after the first four races of the regatta, but would finish in the top eight in six of the last eight races of the regatta to make a push for the top five. The 91 points was few enough to edge Dartmouth, Georgetown, and Connecticut College, all with 98 points.

On the second day in A division, freshman Morgan Wilson would take over as skipper. Wilson combined with Kristen Cumming for ODU's best finish in A in the final two races, 6th and 7th. The A division boat would still struggle, though, and finished 15th in the division with 145 points.

ODU as a team made a push from 14th to the top ten on the second day, tallying 236 points. It was just one point ahead of Boston University to clinch the top ten finish.
