FINAL RESULTS
REGATTA HIGHLIGHTS:Saturday - Competitors showed up to clearing skies and a decentwest/southwest breeze at 5-10 knots. Lots of general recalls withcurrent pushing everyone over. Shifty conditions on course 4's(Triangle/Windward), course 5's (Gold Cups), W3's(Windward/Leeward/Windward), and W4's. On the W course, offsets andleeward gates were used. Longer length courses were sailed, 15-22minutes in length. One protest resulting in a DSQ for NY Maritime. Nobreakdowns.
Sunday - Great weather with temps in the low 70's but little breeze.Races 7B/8B and 9A/10A sailed in a very shifty westerly ranging from 3-8knots. Long delay from 1:00pm until 3pm when a light westerly stabilizedagain for races 9B and 10B. All courses were 4's and 5's. One protestthat was disallowed. Congrats to Boston College on winning the ShermanHoyt Trophy again. Brown and Tufts qualify for ACC's from NEISA.
