Norfolk, Va. - The Lady Monarchs' doubles team of Charleen Haarhoff and Barbara Costa advanced to the championship match of the women's A bracket at the Hampton Roads Collegiate Invitational on the campus of ODU.
Haarhoff and Costa defeated the duo of Fenimore and Pollack from the University of Delaware 8-3 in semifinals to move on to the finals where they'll take on William & Mary's team of Acharaga and Bresson.
ODU sophomore Daniela Cohen narrowly missed advancing to the championship round of the B1 singles bracket, falling in the semifinals 6-2, 7-5 in the semifinal to George Washington's Nadia Demidenko.
