The 12th seed ODU Monarchs (24-8) open up NCAA play against fifthseed Butler on Thursday, at the HSBC Arena in Buffalo, NY. Gametime is 30minutesafter the completion of the Maryland-Davidson game which starts at 12:20.ODU andButler have met only once, with Butler winning, 75-62 in the 1999 NITsecond round.This is ODU's second NCAA appearance in the last three years and first asan atlargeselection since 1986. ODU has won 24 or more games three straight yearsunderhead coach Blaine Taylor.
