NORFOLK, Va. -- Junior guard T.J. Jordan (Portsmouth, Va.) was named the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Co-Player of the Week after averaging 22.5 points as the Lady Monarchs moved into second place in the league with wins over Delaware and Northeastern. It is the second conference weekly award for Jordan.

Jordan made the most 3-point FG's in a game by any CAA player, women's or men's, in conference history with 10 in the Lady Monarchs' win over Northeastern on Thursday and finished the night with career-high 34 points. It was the first time since March 11, 2005 when CAA Tournament MVP Shareese Grant exploded for 35 points that a Lady Monarch reached the 30 or more point mark.

On Sunday, Jordan battled a stomach bug to become one of four players in double digits in a victory over Delaware moving the Lady Monarchs into second place in the league race. In only 11 minutes of action, Jordan notched 11 points.

The third year Lady Monarchs is currently third in the country in three-point field goals made at 3.3 per game. She leads Old Dominion and is sixth in the CAA in points averaging 15.3 points per game. Jordan is also nearing the 1,000 point mark having collected 966 career points to date.
