NORFOLK, Va. -- Both field hockey polls keep Old Dominion the same this week. The Lady Monarch ranked third in the STX/National Field Hockey Coaches Association Poll and second in the Women's Field Hockey.com Poll heading into the final week of the regular season.

Maryland continues to top the STX/NFHCA poll receiving all 38 first place votes. Wake Forest continues its spot at No. 2, with Duke at No.4 and Ohio State at No. 5. ODU's final non-conference opponent who the Lady Monarchs will take on Saturday in the annual Scholarship Match are ranked at No. 8.

Other CAA schools featured in the poll are James Madison at No. 15 and Hofstra at No. 20. William & Mary and Northeastern are both receiving votes.

In the Women's Field Hockey.com Poll, Maryland also remains in the top spot with Wake Forest following ODU at No. 3. Duke and Boston College round out the top five at No. 4 and No. 5 respectively. North Carolina was ranked at No. 9.

James Madison is ranked in the Women's Field Hockey.Com Poll at No. 16 and Hofstra at No. 20.

In the national stats, senior midfielder Dana Sensenig (Denver, Pa.) ranks 12th in points per game (2.28), 20th in goals per game (0.83), and 18th in assists per game (0.61). Redshirt freshman keeper Kelly Driscoll still tops all goalkeepers in goals against average (0.65) and is seventh in save percentage (0.81).

In the CAA stats, Sensenig remains atop the points (41), points per game (2.28), and goals (0.83) lists. She also is second in goals per game (0.83), assists (11),and assists per game (0.61). Sophomore midfielder Denise Admiraal (Heillo, Holland) is fourth in points (23), sixth in points per game (1.28), fourth in both goals (0.56) and goals per game (0.56) . Both senior forward Darcy Pinchbeck (Suffolk, Va.) and sophomore midfielder Nico van Nispen (Bilthoven, Holland) are 10th in goals (7). Driscoll meanwhile leads the conference in shutouts (10), goals against average (0.65), and save percentage (.810).

Old Dominion returns to action in its final two games of the regular season. The Lady Monarchs host #6 North Carolina on Saturday, October 28th in their final non-conference test. The game will be the annual scholarship match with the $5.00 admission to benefit the Intercollegiate Foundation for Field Hockey Scholarships. ODU students are admitted free with ID. The regular season comes to a close on Sunday, October 29th when Old Dominion hosts William & Mary. The Lady Monarch seniors will be honored prior to the start of the game.
