NORFOLK, Va. -- The Old Dominion field hockey team will take to the turf in the annual Field Hockey Scholarhship Game on Saturday, October 28th when the Lady Monarchs take on North Carolina at 1:00 p.m. on Foreman Field.
Admission is five dollars with the proceeds to benefit the Intercollegiate Foundation for Field Hockey Scholarships. One lucky fan will win free roundtrip airfare courtsey of AirTran Airways.
The Lady Monarch field hockey team, who has been ranked as high as third during the season, is winding down the 2006 regular season. The Tar Heels will mark their final non-conference opponent. Old Dominion will be looking to sweep the home-and-home series after downing North Carolina 3-1 back in September in Chapel Hill.
