NORFOLK, VA-- Junior midfielder Jo Ann van Aswegen (Bloemfontein, South Africa) scored five goals to lead the Lady Monarchs to a 12-0victory over the alumni Saturday afternoon. ODU opens the regular season on Aug. 26th at Penn State.
Denise Admiraal (Heiloo, Holland) and Titia Beeks added two goals each of the Lady Monarchs while Sami McLenegan and Anna Rogers pushed across a score as well.
The alumni who participate were:Yogi Hightower Boothe ('83), KatieMoyer ('02), Kim Decker Dooren ('96), Robin Smith ('92), Beth Maddox('05), Elizabeth Sharpe ('04), Rosanna De Lultis ('06), Jenny Angat ('06),Renee Houser ('97), Carol Cochran, Laura Steadman ('02) and last year'sCAA Player of the Year and Academic All-American Janelle Engle ('06).
