WILLIAMSBURG, VA-- Freshman Alexis Garduno (Sacramento, CA) finished in a tie for 9th place on Sunday to lead the ODU Women's golf team to a 14th place showing at the William & Mary Invitation. Garduno, who shot a 75 on Sunday, is the only Lady Monarch in program history to be the low scorer for the team at every tournament they have participated in this year. As a team, the Lady Monarchs improved by 15 strokes from yesterday's effort, shooting a 342 overall.
Toledo won the event, shooting a +26 over two-day score of 602, while Kim Kester won individual medallist honors with a 75-72 (147).
