WILLIAMSBURG, VA-- Freshman Alexis Garduno (Sacramento, CA) shot a first round 80 to sit in a tie for 21st place and lead the Old Dominion Lady Monarchs to a 14th place mark after one round of play. As a team, the Lady Monarchs have a stroke score of 357.
Overall, Toledo is in the lead with a team total of 298, good for +10 over par. Tammy Clelland of Toledo is in the individual lead after shooting an opening 72 on the par-72 Ford's Colony golf course.
The second round begins tomorrow morning at 9:30 a.m. with a shotgun start.
