March 20, 1992
Freshman Petey Sessoms scores 21 points and hauls down 13 rebounds, but the Monarchs lose to Kentucky in the NCAA fififi rst round, 88-69 at Worcester, MA.

LAST GAME
The Monarchs won their NIT opening round game at Colorado, 79-61. Isaiah Hunter led with a career high tying 28 points, while Arnaud Dahi had 16 points and ten boards. ODU outrebounded the Buffaloes, 45-35.

ODU VS. MANHATTAN
Series is tied 1-1
ODU lost to the Jaspers, 81-73 in 1969-70. The Monarchs then Defeated Manhattan, 76-74 in the 1994 NIT opening round at Norfolk Scope.

LAST MAAC OPPONENT
ODU defeated Marist, 84-71 in a "Bracketbusters" game on ESPN2 on Feb. 18th at ODU.

HOT TICKET
ODU ended up averaging more than 7,000 (7023 for 14 home games). That's up 14% from last year and averaged 1,112 students per game, with six student sellouts this year is up 15% from last year. In nine CAA games, ODU averaged 6,891.

MILESTONES
Senior Isaiah Hunter became the 41st Monarch to break the 1,000 career point mark. He did it in the fi rst half of the VMI game and now has 1385 career points which ranks him 19th. Alex Loughton has 1616 career points and 927 career rebounds. He currently ranks 11th . In rebounding, Loughton ranks eighth. He is the 14th Monarch to reach 1500 career points.

STEALING: Loughton also has 158 career steals. He is the only non-guard in ODU's top-10 career steals list.
