RICHMOND, VA-- The Colonial Athletic Association has named seniorrighthander Kevin Gunter (Richland, NJ.) as the Pitcher of the Week.
Gunter tossed a 2-0 complete game shutout against George Mason Fridaynight. He walked no one and fanned a career high 11 batters in a gamethat lasted only 1:36 minutes, a school record.
Gunter is now 3-2 with a 3.69 earned run average. He has 32 strikeoutsin 31 innings of work.
