Old Dominion fans honored its seniors, Alex Loughton, Isaiah Hunter, Janko Mrksic, John Morris and manager Ed Isaac. A packed house was on hand for the event.

The Monarchs play host to Marist College from the MAAC in the BracketBuster's game Saturday at 4 p.m. in the final regular season home game. The contest will be televised live on ESPN2.

Blaine Taylor Comments

Coach Taylor on Isaiah Hunter: "Seems like just yesterday this flashy little freshman showed up on our door step. He has been an integral part of the belief we can be a good team and program with good players. We have shared many experiences with Isaiah, including the death of his father, Irving. Isaiah has improved every year."

Blaineism on Isaiah: "...but a good steak needs a little sizzle and Zai had that sizzle that can bring belief to the rest of your team. When we recruited Isaiah, I was well aware that I was getting a ball of energy that had to be bottled, blended and aged."

Coach Taylor on Alex Loughton: "Alex embodies what we want representing Old Dominion basketball. He will be seen and remembered as such. Consider his status as an academic All-American. His affable approach to people, and his ambitions to help make our program as good as any. He was recognized many ways a year ago, but he will be the first to tell you, individual accomplishments are not why he works to contribute to our success."
