ODU won its second away game of the year with a 85-71 victory at Towson Thursday night. Isaiah Hunter scored a season high 22 points, followed by Alex Loughton with 21 points. Drew Williamson dished out six assists and came up with four steals. ODU shot .525 (32-61) from the floor and forced the Tigers into 14 turnovers.

This Date In ODU History
Jan. 3, 2000. Pierre Greene scores 18 points and Andre McCullum adds ten points and 11 rebounds to lead ODU to an 82-75 victory over George Washington in the ODU fieldhouse.

Approaching Milestones
Senior Isaiah Hunter became the 41st Monarch to break the 1,000 career point mark. He did it in the first half of the VMI game and now has 1163 career points (ranks 31st). Alex Loughton has 1375 career points and 786 career rebounds. He currently ranks 19th just 24 behind Ricardo Leonard ('92). In rebounding, Loughton ranks 11th.

Other Notes:
This season ODU has beaten teams from the SEC (Georgia), the ACC (Virginia Tech), and the BIG EAST (DePaul). In 1993-94, ODU defeated Virginia (ACC) and South Carolina (SEC). Junior red-shirt guard John Morris graduated with a business management degree on Dec. 18. He will be taking graduate course in the same field. Valdas Vasylius missed the Richmond game due to an ankle injury. He came back vs. UAB to scored 18 points in 22 minutes. Vasylius started against Towson and Georgia.
