WILLIAMSBURG, VA-- Second half goals by freshman Bobby Foglesong (Fredericksburg, VA.) and senior Brian Cvilikas (Highlands Ranch, CO.) lifted eighth ranked Old Dominion to a 2-0 Colonial Athletic Association victory over William and Mary Friday night at Albert-Daley field. ODU is now 14-2-2 overall and 9-1-1 in the CAA and will host the CAA tournament next weekend beginning Friday, Nov. 11.

After a scoreless first half, Foglesong got a pass from Gregg Mottinger (Carrollton,TX.) on the right side and pushed it in to give ODU a 1-0 with 25 minutes left in the match. With less than nine minutes left, Brian Civilakas, who was selected for the second time this year to College Soccer News National Team of the Week scored his 14th goal of the season on an assist from Trevor Banks (Madison, WI.). Civilikas ranks tenth nationally in goals per game at 0.81. Mottinger is now tied with Ross Mackenzie with six assists each.

This was the 12th shutout of the season for the Monarchs and goal keeper John Connelly now has a 0.55 goals against average which ranks him tenth nationally. ODU outshot the Tribe, 18-5. Tournament pairings will be announced Sunday.
