HARRISONBURG, VA.--The fourth seeded James Madison Dukes(12-7-1) defeated fifth seed Old Dominion (12-7), 5-0 in a Colonial AthleticAssociation quarterfinal match Tuesday night.
JMU took a 3-0 halftime lead, then added two more goals in thesecond half. Sarah Cebulski led JMU with a goal and an assist, whileKimmy Germain assisted on two goals. JMU will now advance to Friday'ssemi-final matchup against top seed and host VCU at the SportsbackerStadium in Richmond, VA.
ODU senior forward Laura Beeman was named CAA Player ofthe week after her three-goal performance against Towson last week.She leads the CAA with 16 goals and 35 total points.
