WILLIAMSBURG, VA-- Freshman Alexis Garduno (Sacramento, CA) shot a 75 in a rain shortened Tribe Classic hosted by William & Mary, to finish tied for 8th and lead the Old Dominion University Women's Golf team to a tie for 4th place overall. Sophomore Meghan Schaefer (Union, KY) shot a 76, good for an 11th place finish. Only one round was played due to the heavy rains that plagued the area on Saturday. ODU's team score of 315 broke the program record for team 18 hole score by six strokes.
William & Mary won the event by two strokes over Harvard, while the Tribe's Sayde Murray won individual medalist honors by shooting a 71 and winning in a three hole playoff over Longwood's Stephanie Hicks.
