LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ -Junior Old Dominion wrestler Shanon Slack (Richmond, VA/Hermitage/141) was named Colonial Athletic Association Wrestler of the Week Tuesday after placing fifth at the Southern Scuffle last week. Slack won six of eight bouts at the Southern Scuffle, hosted by UNC-Greensboro, winning his first bout and winning five times in the consolation rounds, including a 14-5 major decision over Charlie Pinto of Maryland. In the battle for fifth place, Slack defeated Manuel Rivera of Minnesota 5-3. Slack improved to 21-10 on the season.
