ST. MARY'S, MD -The Old Dominion sailing team finished 4th at the St. Mary's Open, held in St. Mary's, MD, with 49 points. ODU tied Hobart/William Smith for third, but was placed fourth due to tiebreak procedures. Wade Schon (Millington, NJ) and Federico de la Puente Gomez (Cartagena, Spain) finished 5th in A division with 21 points, while Michael Collins (Bayport, NY) and Shannon Kernan (Virginia Beach, VA) finished 5th in B division with 28 points. The U.S. Naval Academy won the first Senator's Cup, by winning the St. Mary's Open, with 28 points.
